So happy there is finally a double espresso option!! AND in a blonde roast! I was buying the single pods before and now I can save some $!!

I know the names are tricky, BUT I prefer the Nespresso pods for making iced coffee/lattes. I feel like the little pods pack so much more flavor and creaminess than I get with my double shot of brewed espresso. I just love the extra bit of crema at the top that takes the iced coffee to the next level. These Starbucks iced coffee pods are PERFECT for the summer. The roast was light and extremely delicious. These pods are the secret to the best homemade iced lattes!

Flavor-wise, it’s smooth, light, and super well-balanced and there's no harsh bitterness or sour aftertaste like you sometimes get with espresso pods. It leans a little sweet naturally, almost like there’s a hint of caramel or soft vanilla tucked in there, but it’s not flavored, it’s simply blonde roast goodness pulling through! I am coffee person and as much as i love to try new coffee , i don’t like many. But this one stood out and it literally felt like i got this from cafe. Packaging goes well with my nespresso virtuoso. And compared to what i pay outside for such coffee, this is definitely a great option. Highly recommend.

That being said the “Starbucks by Nespresso Iced Double Espresso Blonde Roast is SO GOOD! Typically when I make an iced coffee I’ll grab two of my strongest espresso pods and pour them over ice because a few of the iced coffee blends I have tried can be too watered down. I didn’t know what to expect from the blonde roast since it’s Starbucks lightest blend but I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t instantly pour it over for but I let it cool to room temp and then added my ice in case I didn’t like how watered down it got but it wasn’t necessary. It’s very good and not bitter. I added a bit of milk and my favorite creamer and I was good to go. I would recommend this iced coffee to anyone who loves a good strong flavorful iced coffee.
